Westerner Motor Hotel Ashtray Wall Art

The Westerner Motel was located on California Route 66 and owned by Walter Muller. Its street address was 161 Colorado Place with the Westerner Restaurant just next door at 181 Colorado Place. Built in 1948, the Westerner Motel had 50 rooms. The overall layout had a central courtyard and ranch-like portico. It also boasted an oval swimming pool and was near the Santa Anita Race Track and 1/4 miles away from the golf course. The motel was eventually torn down in 2007 and replaced with a medical center.
