The Village Ashtray Wall Art

This ashtray reads, "the Village / Colombus Avenue / at Lombard Street / San Francisco / For Reservations: TUxedo 5-6600". Looking for some more information has led to almost no results. There is another example of this ashtray on the internet with no extra information. The Village is the name of a San Francisco newsletter that also did not help in our search for info. Due to the design, phone code, and the styling of "TU"xedo, we believe The Village may have been some sort of lounge or club that existed in San Francisco in the mid 1900s.
