The Starboard Attitude was a blues bar that opened in 1987 by Ed Castro, located on the Redondo Pier, 202 The Pier, Fishermans Wharf, Redondo Beach, CA 90277. Not too long after it opened, the landlord of the pier purchased it, changing its theme to country western and its popularity began to diminish. The city of Redondo Beach purchased the bar and resold it to Castro, the bar reopening in 1997 under the name New Starboard Attitude. It is still in operation today.
